Starting Over after my 40's
After getting our Permanent Residence, everything just kind of started to fall into place. Many happy moments to share! Sorry it took so long! I promise to post more often!!! This one is from march last year, I never posted it. 🙁 But now i did!!! Enjoy, until next time!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! We are very grateful of all the blessings we have received!
If getting the license was hard, you will not imagine how hard it is to get used to Alberta´s regulations.
I though getting my drivers' license will be much easier than it actually was. It was a lot of work and patience... So far, my biggest challenge in this country.
And everything is starting to get in place. Step by step, with resilience and patient, we are getting there.

The most difficult thing to do when you are immigrating is finding new friends. Sometimes the friend of your friend becomes your friend... but most of the time you never get to meet them
Those who where supposed to help you get a job at arrival, just disappear. Its like magic.
Does everyone tell you the truth about everything you need to expect once you arrived? There are many things you will learn the hard way...
You have to ask whenever you get to another city! Public transit is different within Canada. So, just make sure you are not paying more than you should.
